Foodborne illness is a public health concern especially to venerable populations such as children, older adults, and pregnant women.
Initial Post: Using your textbook and course content, including any handout or resouces provided within your course content file, you will create a scenario, a short conversation.
The scene will be between yourself and another person or groups of persons, which describes and discusses a specific “Mystery” foodborne illness. In your scene, you will 1. Describe the setting (kitchen at home or restaurant) , 2. the conditions of the setting (clean looking, dirty etc), 3. who is in your group (Who are the characters in your scenario), 4 your role in this scenario (What do you do?) 5. Explain problem: foods eaten, symptoms etc. only. Do not reveal the foodborne pathogen or intoxicant that you have in mind. Be as specific as you can be so that the other students reponding to your post can identify the culprit.
